IRIG Video Inserters

ITS products can overlay or insert data, text & graphics into multiple video streams as required. Systems are available to be installed as rack-mount units, vehicle and airframe mount or VME bus cards.

Model 6225GC Video and GPS Time Code Inserter

The 6225GC Video Graphics and GPS Time Inserter provides for the insertion of a GPS synchronized time message, movable and boresight crosshair and a field-of-view box into an applied RS-170, NTSC, S-Video or PAL video signal. Additionally the unit provides for the insertion of user generated alphanumeric annotation and full control of the format of the display is accomplished by commands via a serial RS-232 port.

Model 6055B Multi-channel IRIG Inserter

The ITS Model 6055B Multi-channel IRIG Inserter provides for the insertion of alphanumeric messages, IRIG time and countdown clock, into ten, asynchronous, RS-170, NTSC or S-Video signals.

The unit is housed in a rack mountable aluminum enclosure, 19 inches wide, 3.5 inches high, 15 inches deep, powered by 100 to 240VAC, 50 to 400 Hz.

Model 6055E Multi-channel IRIG Inserter

The ITS Model 6055E Multi-channel IRIG Inserter provides for the insertion of alphanumeric messages, IRIG time and countdown clock, into six, asynchronous, RS-170, NTSC or S-Video signals.

The unit is housed in a ruggedized aluminum enclosure, 8.5 inches wide, 4.25 inches high, 8.5 inches deep, powered by 100 to 240VAC, 50 to 400 Hz.

Model 6088A multiple channel asynchronous Video Insertion Generator

The ITS Model 6088A is a multiple channel asynchronous Video Insertion Generator that provides for the insertion of annotation, graphics and machine readable data, derived from a variety of sources, into three applied video signals. The unit includes an IRIG/GPS synchronisation system that provides for the synchronisation of both monochrome and color cameras to IRIG B or GPS time.

Model 6025 IRIG Decoder/Inserter

The ITS Model 6025 IRIG Decoder/Inserter is an IRIG time code decoder and video insertion generator that inserts the decoded IRIG time into a standard RS-170 video signal, The 6025 also provides for the insertion of event marks. Up to six TTL levels or contact closures can be monitored and, when triggered, a unique message will be inserted for each input. The 6025 has two modes of insertion, white (constant contrast) and black, selectable by the operator.

The unit is housed in a ruggedized 2 1/2 inch high, 8 1/2 inch wide, 8 1/2 inch deep, sheet metal enclosure and is powered by 9 to 32VDC.

Model 6095 IRIG Decoder/Inserter

The ITS Model 6095 IRIG Decoder/Inserter is an IRIG time code decoder and three channel video insertion generator that inserts the decoded IRIG time into a standard RS-170 or NTSC video signal. The Model 6095A is identical to the 6095 except it operates on CCIR or PAL video.

The unit is housed in a ruggedized 3.75-inch high, 4.5 inch wide, 6.0 inch deep, aluminum enclosure and is powered by 9 to 36VDC.

Model 6115G-8V2 GPS Synchronized Miniature Time Code Generator

The Model 6115G-8V2 GPS Synchronized Miniature Time Code Generator provides an IRIG B time code output derived from GPS and also inserts a time message into two applied asynchronous video signals. The time code output is synchronised with UTC time unless a time offset has been programmed. A twelve channel GPS receiver automatically acquires all in-view satellites upon power up and locks an internal IRIG B time code generator to the GPS time reference. If the GPS lock is lost the 6115G-8 will automatically switch to an internal clock and continue generating the output IRIG B signal.

The 6115G-8V2 is housed in an aluminum enclosure, 7.5 inches long (including mounting flanges), 4.25 inches wide and 2.2 inches high. All controls, connectors and indicators are on the front panel.

Model 6980 and 6980A Dual Mode Video Insertion Generators

The ITS Model 6980 and 6980A Video Insertion Generators provide for the insertion of alphanumeric messages and IRIG time into a standard RS-170 or NTSC video signal (6980) or RS-343, 875 line (6980A).

The 6980 is housed in a 1U, 19-inch wide, 1¾ inch high, 8-inch deep, rack mountable aluminum enclosure and is powered by 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz line.

Model 6030 Video Insertion Generator - VME Bus

The ITS Model 6030 Video Insertion Generator is designed to plug into a standard VME backplane and generates alphanumeric characters and graphics which are inserted into an input RS-170 or NTSC video signal.

The 6030 is contained in a dual high 6U VME card and occupies a single 0.8 inch slot.

Model 6090 IRIG B Video Encoder Inserter - VME Bus

The ITS Model 6090 IRIG B Video Encoder Inserter contains an IRIG B time code decoder, a video data edge encoder, an alphanumeric character generator and a reticle generator all of which may be inserted into an input RS-170, NTSC or PAL/CCIR video signal. The edge encoding includes automatic error correction code generation.

The 6090 is contained in a dual high 6U VME card and occupies a single 0.8 inch slot.
